A Review of the Psychological Impacts of COVID-19 towards Travellers

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted businesses and industries worldwide, including the tourism hospitality industry. Border closures safety policies affected activities which resulted in a decrease or no tourist arrivals. This paper reviews impacts of COVID-19, specifically psychological on future travel intention post-pandemic restrictions. By using bibliometric analysis, total 30 papers about scope study were identified from 2021 – 2022. review fear, anxiety stress that discussed sparsely throughout period. presents wider implication for destination stakeholders understanding shift behaviour post-pandemic. Additionally, this provides deeper towards promotion management.
